When were you first introduced to tennis?
When I was 13. I have been at Drumlins 38 years. What inspired you to continue tennis?
I liked it. I improved quickly. My dad was my hitting partner. What do you do for fun (other than tennis)?
I sail, kayak, go to the opera and read. Also, driving my Miata. What are some accomplishments you are most proud of? Tex Schwab Lifetime Achievement Award, USPTA Eastern Division 2002. United States Professional Tennis Association - Professional of the Year 1993. A charter inductee of the Kalamazoo College Athletic Hall of Fame, 1986. Winner of Sue Little Sportsmanship Award given by Albion College Irving the Women's Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association (WMIAA) tournament. Winner of 4 WMIAA Conference Championships. Head Professional at Drumlins since 1979. Staff professional since 1972. Having helped so many high school players to play on tennis teams. Post-Standard Woman of Achievement, 1987.
