MEMBERSHIP: To become a member, an application accepted by Drumlins Tennis Club ("Drumlins") is required at the beginning of each membership year. Membership is required to reserve court time or to play as a regular participant in a seasonal time group or league. The full-year membership runs from September 15 of any year through September 14 of the following year.
INDIVIDUAL'S RESPONSIBILITIES: All members, guests, and customers must conduct themselves according to a high standard of personal behavior. Behavior, including but not limited to physical action or language, and whether during play or at any other time, which is deemed by Drumlins in its sole discretion to be inappropriate may result in denial of all further membership rights and any other benefits with no refund of monies paid. Members are responsible for safeguarding their own property. Drumlins is not responsible for lost or stolen items. No food is allowed on the courts. Please provide your own water for play on the indoor courts.
DRESS CODE: Proper clothing attire as determined by Drumlins in its sole discretion is required for all customers. Non-marking shoes are required for indoor play. For the outdoor har-tru courts, smooth soled tennis shoes are required. Shirts are required to be worn at all times.
GUEST POLICY: Non-members are required to pay a $10 fee for each use of Drumlins' facilities in addition to any other charges such as court time. This fee is charged to substitutes for seasonal time groups and leagues if they are non-members. Coupons approved by Drumlins may be used in lieu of this payment. If a guest is from more than 50 miles away, there will be no guest fee charged. Each guest is limited to two visits per season.
LESSONS: Membership is not required for instructional programs. Non-members may be required to pay a higher fee for instructional programs. We ask that participants book their lessons and clinics one week in advance. If there is a need to cancel, please inform the Club. Failure to cancel may result in the participant being charged for the lesson or clinic. Adult clinics need at least three participants to run for the full 1-1/2 hours. If only two participants show, the clinic will run for 1 hour, and if only one person shows, the clinic will run for one half an hour. All youth instructional groups need a minimum of three students for a session to run, otherwise it will be cancelled.
RESERVATIONS FOR COURT BOOKINGS: Members may book court time as far as one week in advance. However, members with an "Unlimited Time Play Pass" may book court time only three days in advance. All Club activities take precedence over open court time. A member or non-member may book same day reservations for a reduced rate. Seasonal time court bookings need to be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance to qualify for make-ups. If cancellations are made with less than 24 hours advance notice or a "no show" occurs, that court time will be lost and will not qualify for a make-up. This will be strictly enforced. If members cannot make a court reservation, they should please call as soon as possible. If they are a continual "no show", Drumlins in its discretion may terminate their ability to book courts on the reservation system and will only permit them to "walk-on".
PAYMENTS: Membership payment is due September 15 of each year. When a membership application is made after September 15, payment is due at the time of application. For those who desire installment billing for seasonal time, payment for half of the seasonal time is due September 15 and the balance is due November 15. Payments for playing leagues, youth leagues, and instructional sessions for children are due the first week of the schedule. All other services must be paid-in-full the day the service is rendered. There are no Club charge privileges. There will be a 1.5% late fee added each month onto past due balances including late fee balances. Drumlins also reserves the right to withhold membership privileges and to deny services to anyone whose payments are delinquent.
